Why do police officers try to intimidate people?

Everytime I see a police officer interacting with someone they always have to be rude. And, they always try to pretend as if they're in the right and everyone is in the wrong. I can't wait to become a prosecutor so, I can have the right to make THEM feel the way they make others feel if there's ever a case envolving a police officer. Oh yeah, especially when I become a judge.....it's on!
