We have had over-population, Hong Kong flu, poverty, killer bees, hunger, global cooling, bird-flu, global warming, mad cow, Y2K, HIV, Cold War, droughts, Islamic terrorists, flooding, pollution, West Nile Virus, and near-collisions with comets come our way. Can anyone guess what the next crisis politicians will demand and scream that we must throw money at?
