A Rainforest Diorama?

I have to make a rainforest in a box. The box is about the size of 2 fists (maybe a little bigger). I was thinking of coloring floss or string blue and hanging a bunch of them from the top. I need alot of greenery and maybe animals. I don't want it to all be pictures on paper. :) Thanks! Please answer!!
