People who believe in the G-d of Abraham; is it important to use God’s name?

Yes. but you don't get sins for calling Him just God... but He taught us to say Allah... (and similar words in the scriptures).. and He the All Knowing described Himself with His Most Beautiful Attributes, which belongs to no one but Him. Surely, what He teaches is better than what we come up with.
